Asian Capellini
  • 1 pound angel hair pasta (I used a 13.25 oz box Barilla Whole Grain angel hair)
  • ½ cup Tamari
  • ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper, or to taste (I used ¼ teaspoon)
  • ⅓ cup toasted sesame oil
  • 1 red pepper, chopped into small pieces
  • 1 bunch cilantro, coarsely chopped (optional)
  • 1 bunch green onions, chopped (optional)
  1. Boil pasta in ample water, stirring frequently, according to directions on package. Dump cooked pasta in a colander and rinse to cool. Drain completely.
  2. Mix together Tamari, cayenne and sesame oil until blended; toss with pasta. Adjust the amount of cayenne as needed.
  3. Add chopped red pepper, cilantro or green onions to pasta and toss to combine.
  4. Serve room temperature or chilled.
